1941-1946 Chevy Short Box Chassis Kit

Our 1941-1946 Chevy Short Box Kit Covers Chevy's AK series truck models including the 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton models.  These trucks generally had a 116" wheel base.  In considering a S10 Chassis Swap a doner S10 from 1982 to 2004 will work fine.  Generally the Regular Cab Long Box is preferable as it has a 118" wheel base which is perfect for early model trucks with the 116" wheel base.  The reason for this is that the early models rear wheels at a 116" wheelbase was not centered in the rear wheel well and sat forward slightly and was not centered.  Our kit will place the rear end at a 118" wheel base to center the rear end in the rear wheel well.  Other S10 models can be used as well, if you find a S10 Regular Cab Short bed with 108" Wheelbase we have a separate frame extension kit to extend this frame to 118".  If you find a S10 Extended Cab with 123" Wheelbase we have a separate frame reduction kit to reduce the frame 5" to 118".  Keep in mind that extending or reducing a frame will require cutting and welding the frame.
Our Kit includes all brackets, hardware and body cushions necessary to mount the Cab, Box, Front Bumpers, Rear Bumpers, Running Boards, Transmission mounts, and Engine mounts for either Chevy Small Block or LS.  Instruction manual is also included.
Our Kit is completely bolt on.  If you can use a tape measure, angle grinder with cutoff wheel, a drill, and a few wrenches, you can install our kit.  It is our mission to make the easiest and simplest kit possible for anyone to create their dream project.  Our kit installed will set the body 6" off the frame.  For those who want to set your truck low, don't fear, with the right suspension parts such as drop spindles, drop leaf springs, 4 Link kit or even a bag kit, you can still set your truck on the ground.  Our off frame stance allows for the least amount of modifications to the body for a great fit and any stance you're looking for, high or low.

1947 - 1954 Chevy Short Box Chassis Kit

Our 1947 through 1954 Kit Covers Chevy's Advanced Design (AD) series truck models to include the 3100 1/2 ton, 3600 3/4 ton (light or heavy duty), and the 3800 1 ton this includes the 1955 first generation.

1947 - 1954 Chevy Long Box Chassis Kit

Our 47 - 54 Chevy Long Box Chassis Kit covers Chevy AD series truck from 1947 through 1954 and 1955 first series trucks with the Long Box.
These trucks generally had a 125" wheel base.  In considering a S10 Chassis Swap a doner S10 from 1982 to 2004 will work fine.  The S10 Extended Cab is preferable for the long Box trucks.  The Original Long box Chevy trucks had a 125" wheelbase.  With the S10 Extended Cab it is still possible to match the original 125" wheel base by simply removing the rear leaf springs on the S10, rotating them 180 degrees and re-installing them with the rear of the leaf spring connected to the front leaf spring mount.  This will provide a 125" wheelbase.
